Science.lu recently published an article on the DRIVE protocol that has been developed within the VehicularLab.

The DRIVE protocol is intended to be used by Collaborative adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) systems to avoid the formation of so called "Shock waves" that are responsible for slow downs in dense traffic scenarios.

The protocol has recently been published at INFOCOM 2014. An experimental validation of a prototype system is planned for the end of September 2014.
