About Me

Antonio Di Maio joined the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) in 2016 where he carried out his doctoral research within Secan-Lab on the FNR project CONTACT (CONtext and conTent Aware CommunicaTions for QoS support in VANETs), under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Engel, Prof. Ulrich Sorger and Dr. Maria Rita Palattella (LIST). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Communication and Distributed Systems group at the University of Bern, headed by Prof. Dr. Torsten Braun. Antonio holds an M.Sc. from the Polytechnic University of Bari (Italy) having completed a thesis on Human-Machine Interaction (“Design of an application for following a human target with a drone”, 2016). His B.Sc. thesis, also from the Polytechnic University of Bari, focused on Computer Vision (“Design and implementation of an eye blink detection Android application”, 2014).
